Stacey graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2005, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2008. Stacey has spent the last 16 years working in private orthopedic clinics in Canada and the San Francisco Bay Area. This experience exposed her to novel treatment techniques and provided her with a diverse and unique therapeutic philosophy.

Stacey is passionate about solving problems rather than symptoms, being receptive to innovative treatment techniques, and providing high-quality one-on-one care. She enjoys collaborating with patients to achieve their goals and to promote optimal recovery. She strongly believes in functional assessment and treatment. Stacey has also completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training course and believes in promoting a safe, well-aligned yoga practice to prevent injury and promote therapeutic exercise.

Stacey is an avid skier and has personal experience with rehabilitating her ACL and MCL after a skiing injury. She enjoys kayaking, backpacking, and hiking. She has played squash for over 10 years and enjoys weight lifting and biking. On weekends you will find her participating in one of her hobbies with her husband and two children, and when given a quiet moment, she escapes with a good book.
